This three-hour workshop relies on the experiences of the project entitled Filmfeels--Psychological Education at the Muza Cinema, which won the Art House Cinema Association award for the best educational event in 2024.

The meeting will show you how film and conversation style can nurture empathy and understanding of diversity among children and young people, including neurodiverse individuals, such as children with ADHD or on the autism spectrum.

Participants will be introduced to the essential principles of working with neurodiverse persons, moderation techniques based on the values propounded by Jesper Juul, as well as get to know the tools for building an atmosphere of respect and safety in the cinema.

The workshop combines psychological and film knowledge with practical exercises, games and discussions, so that we may discover that diversity brings us together.
