Exploring the historical part of the premises of ZAMEK Culture Centre with the audio guide
The audio guide has been created in collaboration with MOVITECH, a Krakow-based company which boasts over a hundred of such projects, including the Malbork Castle Museum,  the European Solidarity Centre in Gdańsk, Książ Castle in Wałbrzych, the Princes Czartoryski Museum in Krakow, as well as Porta Posnania.
According to Łukasz Marzec, CEO of Movitech, the company applies “individual approach to each new project, adapting the tour route to suit the needs of a particular institution and its visitors. At ZAMEK Culture Centre, visitors may choose between the traditional audio guide device and the mobile app.” Depending on their preference, visitors may choose to use their smartphones, but if the battery or memory runs out, the option of renting a device is always available. To ensure safety and comfort of visitors, our devices and headphones will be thoroughly disinfected after each use. Using one’s own headphones is welcome.
The following languages and visiting routes are available:
- basic route (Polish, English),
- route without barriers (Polish), intended for persons who for various reasons prefer the route using the lift (instead of stairs),
- Polish Sign Language route.
Persons with visual impairment may adjust the interface of the app to their needs, modifying accessibility options, such as contrast or font size.

The price of renting an audio guide or three-day access to the app is PLN 15.
For convenience, the app does not have to be downloaded from respective stores. Please enter website address in your browser and provide the access code you will obtain at the audio guide desk.
Audio guides may be rented daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. (the tour takes up to one hour, ending at 7 p.m.).

The West Wing of the Castle may be visited upon purchasing a ticket (PLN 5), renting an audio guide or starting the app (PLN 15, PLN 20 from August 1st, 2020). Children under 5 enter free of charge. For each ticket purchased, visitors will be provided with an information leaflet with maps.
