ZAMEK Culture Centre

Sepia Ensemble was formed in 2012 in Poznań, on the initiative of Artur Kroschel and Rafał Zapała, who became its artistic directors. The group comprises musicians sharing a particular passion for contemporary music. The ensemble organizes concerts in cultural institutions of Poznań, though their main venue is the Academy of Music. They are also fond of filling unorthodox places with new music, expanding the range of acoustic sounds with what electronics can offer. Their repertoire relies on the pieces created by Polish composers, but they continuously enrich it with compositions of particularly interesting international authors.
