Discussion panel in Polish with Polish Sign Language and English interpretation.
A panel discussion, whose main aim is to follow the motto: "No decision concerning us without us". The panel will be hosted and moderated by people at risk of social isolation due to disability, illness or social status. We will talk about how to create cultural programmes that meet the needs of diverse social groups, as well as about the experience of social exclusion. We will also explore tips for creating an inclusive and engaged culture.
The discussion will be moderated by Bartek Lis, a sociologist and social researcher, cultural animator and educator associated with ZAMEK Culture Centre in Poznań, author of scholarly and general-interest articles. Since 2012, he has collaborated with the Association of Creative Initiatives "ę" as a researcher, evaluator and trainer. His interests include civic education, audience development, "invisible disabilities", "senior dependency", the use of art in education and social practice, and accessibility of cultural institutions for people with disabilities. An EPALE Ambassador.
