We lie from two to two hundred times a day, depending on how lie is defined: untruths, distorted facts, exaggerations, omissions, civilities, vacant phrases. But how to spot a lie? Do gestures and facial expressions invalidate the spoken word? In order to explore the structure of truth, Luegen confronts two actresses, one of whom can hear, while the other does not. The stage becomes an experimental space for what is consciously and subconsciously conveyed, a laboratory of authenticity, inviting one to decipher things, to take a closer look and observe.
