The performance started out with the protest of persons with disabilities and their parents (RON), which began on the premises of the Polish Parliament on April 18th and lasted until May 27th, 2018. Shortly before the December premiere, director Justyna Sobczyk explained: “As a theatre which takes a watchful, attentive and critical look at the realities of social and political life in Poland where it concerns people with disabilities, we could not leave the forty days of occupation of the parliament without a comment. We found that we could not ignore a gesture of such magnitude. It had its weight, power, and impact! We wish to revisit that event and create a theatrical opportunity to step together into the field of social tensions.”
