Since 2022, the Castle offers an audio guide system consisting of physical devices and native phone apps.
Currently, the following languages and tour paths are available:
- basic path (Polish, English, Ukrainian),
- children's path (Polish only, suggested age: 7-14),
- path without barriers (Polish only), intended for people who, for various reasons, decide to choose the route with an elevator (instead of stairs),
- a path with a Polish sign language reader (PJM, option available only in the app).
People with vision impairment can customize the appearance of the app by changing visibility options such contrast or text size.
The price for renting an audio guide or three-day access to the app is PLN 15, discounted tickets: PLN 12.
The tour app for your phone requires no installation or download. All you need to do is enter the website address and access code in your browser, which you will receive at the audio guide dispenser.
All devices and headphones are sterilized with UV lamps before being issued. You can plug your own headphones with a standard 3.5mm jack plug into the audio guides.
The castle can be visited daily from 12 to 8 pm, with the audio guides being issued at the Information Desk of the Castle Center no later than 7 pm (to be returned by 8 pm).
Free admission for children under 5 years old.
Purchase of a ticket and rental of an audio guide is at the same time admission to the exhibition in the pf Photography Gallery.
