Have you ever wondered what goes on among the plants growing in city parks and squares?
Or perhaps you’d like to discover, together with your children, that an adventure with nature can begin right around the corner?
We invite children and their parents or guardians to join us for workshop and a nature walk, during which we’ll explore the extraordinary world of urban plants. We’ll learn what invasive plants are, discover how plants “communicate,” with each other and see what species can be found in our immediate surroundings.
This won’t be a lecture—we’ll focus on exploring, observing, and asking questions together. We’ll take a close look at plants, search for interesting facts in the field, and learn to notice nature right where we often walk by every day.
Join us and see for yourself that the city holds far more green secrets than you might think!

On Sunday, August 9, we’ll start with a short workshop at CK ZAMEK in Poznań (Sala Prób) and then we’ll go for a walk in the nearby green spaces.
Duration: 2 hours.
The event will be held in English with Polish translation.
This initiative is being carried out as part of the Zamek's Neighborhood Programme and is co-funded by the ZAMEK Culture Centre. The Zamek's Neighborhood Programme is part of the Poznań Cultural Education Program.
