INACTIVITY WORKSHOPS | SOMATIC MOVEMENT LABORATORY by Niyayesh Nahavandy

Movement practice in English with Polish interpretation.

See the world in a grain of sand

Seeing paradise in a wildflower

Holding the end in the palm of your hand

And keep eternity in one hour

Fragment from Auguries of Innocence by William Blake

In this particular meeting we will work specifically on the embodiment of unconscious narratives through schemas and written memories.
What is the need for creativity in movement and choreographic frames?
How can we unlock bodily memories through various experiences in different places?
The workshop would be a multidisciplinary investigation through various possibilities about transiting from unconscious creativity to a poetic reality. We will explore the potential of stories, and cultural narratives in connection with movement and choreography.

INACTIVITY WORKSHOPS are gatherings for adults, especially those working in the fields of culture, art and education. The program of INACTIVITY WORKSHOPS is centered around the search for well-being and respite in everyday life. During these meetings we discover various ways to relax, take care of our health and mental balance.
INACTIVITY WORKSHOPS take place at the ZAMEK Culture Center in Poznań and are implemented as part of the Poznań Cultural Education Program.

AUDIODESKRYPCJA
